1 - in the "Options" dialog, we can choose background colors ... can you also implement an option to change the CURSOR color ... many times it is hard to find the cursor ... i have to click on a random part of the screen to find the cursor ...

2 - can you put an option to "Cancel Changes" in the Options dialog box .... the only option is to "Close", which seems to accept all changes .... if we just wanted to "see" what the settings are, it would be nice to open the dialog box, look at what we want, and then just cancel out of the box ...

I'm noticing an annoying problem with the Active Problem List and Medication List on the summary page. Everytime I update the med list with refilled meds, or meds that I changed the dose on, SOAPware keeps the older version of the medication and the newer version, meaning that the med list keeps getting longer and longer.

The same thing occurs when I'm seeing patients in followup for a chronic problem. If I update the Active Problem List with the items from Assessment (the idea being that I may have diagnosed a new problem), it duplicates items already found in the Active Problem List.

So, I want to keep updated med lists and problem lists, but is it unreasonable to expect that the EMR should be smart enough not to duplicate problems and medications? Has anyone got a suggested workaround for this?

I do not know the version at this time. I assume it is fairly recent as they seem to be rather up-to-date.

They have been without anyone to maintain or update the systems for a long time.

I ran a -huge- number of updates last evening on their EMR server running Windows Server 2008. Service Pack 1 was the major update which took well over 1-1/2 hours to complete. After that all other Windows updates were completed. (about 2 more hours) If I had a nickel for every restart/reboot.... :p

This morning, all clients are receiving this error -

"Soapware is unable to write to the custom user dictionary"

From what I understand they can get out of this by clicking either cancel or okay several times.
All clients have the issue, even the remote office across their VPN. Clients are running XP Pro, Vista, or Win 7.

They are not having any other problems at this time.

Can anyone suggest where to begin looking for the problem?

EDIT: The client machines are next on the update schedule. Anything I should be aware of when I do that?

EDIT 2: Customer has been informed to notify SOAPware support via support ticket. I will post back any resolution(s).

Trouble is, this always closes the chart but does not return me back to the schedule on the exact day I had selected previously. I want to keep schedule open when I close the chart, and also keep it on the day I had previously selected. Is there a way to do this?

person level 1: cant help talk to level 2.

Level 2: Cant change anything talk to level 3.

Level 3: Oh we see the problem is you have been getting payed by ss# and we cant do that so your payment is locked.

Can I speak to level 4? No , We cant even speak to them but we sent them a message and they will call you when they have it unlocked and you can apply to be payed through your TIN .

Also, can anyone suggest existing SOAPware templates that would be good to work off of for this purpose?

based on a few recent reviews, i decided to try the latest version of Microsoft Security Essentials as my anti-virus software instead of Avast ...

with no other changes to my system, i noticed a dramatic increase in SW speed after switching to MS Essentials ....

i am not sure if this is just my imagination, or if anyone else has observed similar increase in performance after making the switch ....

i would love for other users to try MS Essentials and post whether they have noticed any change in speed ....
